Alabama Virtual Library

I believe that teachers can find great benefits in teaching and learning themselves through the Alabama Virtual Library. The AVL can help teachers since it gives them access to all these great sources of information to teach form and to learn from. The scholarly journal articles and the about any book or story or issue can be used at home or anywhere with an internet for convenience whenever a student or teacher need to write a paper or simply expand their horizons. The searching for information is so simple, just type the name of the topic wanted in the search engine and a relevant list comes up to choose from. There are a number of databases to choose from, like EBSCOhost, Jstor, etc. that have a variety of articles to choose from. There are quizzes that teachers or parents can give their students at their grade level in AVL, where they use AVL itself to find the answers, and in the process learn about subject matters relevant to their studies. Conclusively, it is obvious that it is a great source for teaching and learning, for the educator and student alike.
